Please join faith and community leaders for an ecumenical panel discussion called, “A Case for Life: Justice, Mercy and The Death Penalty” on Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 6:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. at Holy Innocents’ Episcopal Church, 805 Mount Vernon Highway, Atlanta, GA, 30327.
Special guest Sister Helen Prejean will give her perspective of advocating for an end to the death penalty for almost 40 years. Archbishop Wilton D. Gregory will also speak about how Catholics are opposing the death penalty.
The event will immediately be followed by a reception and book signing of A Case for Life: Justice, Mercy, and the Death Penalty, co-authored by Reverend Robert Wright, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta, and others about advocating against the death penalty from their own perspectives.
