Please review the attached safety information regarding live Christmas trees and holiday tips for the Christmas season before you start decorating for Christmas. This safety information has been updated according to National Fire Protection Association 2024 guidance.
Local codes could override these national codes, but in those cases, we would still ask the archdiocese, parishes and schools to comply with national codes and not allow live trees in places of assembly whenever possible.
