Fortunate and Faithful Families annual retreat

Fortunate and Faithful Families will host their annual retreat, entitled “Love is Spoken Here,” at the Chancery, 2401 Lake Park Dr., Smyrna 30080 on Sunday, March 1, 12-7 p.m.  

The keynote talk will be given by Dr. Craig A. Ford, Jr., visiting assistant professor of ethics at Candler School of Theology at Emory University. Dr. Ford is nationally well known as an author and speaker exploring topics at the intersection of moral theology, queer theology and black studies.  

The day will also include sharing by priests, small group discussions, spiritual reflection, Mass and dinner.  

All LGBTQ persons, parents and family members, clergy, counselors, youth ministers, allies and those desiring a more welcoming Church for all are invited to attend.
