To: Priests, deacons, religious brothers and sisters, family-life ministers, pastoral care leaders and parish staff
From: Julian Saviano, marriage and family lead, Office of Evangelization and Discipleship
I am pleased to announce that the Archdiocese of Atlanta will host the annual 50th and 60th Wedding Anniversary Mass on Saturday, February 14, at 11 a.m. at Saint Brigid Catholic Church in Johns Creek. Archbishop Hartmayer will serve as main celebrant.
As in the past few years, the celebration is scheduled to correspond with National Marriage Week (February 7–14), a time set aside to elevate and affirm the beauty and sanctity of marriage in our Church and society. After the Mass, there will be an opportunity for couples to have a picture with Archbishop Hartmayer. In lieu of a reception, the Mass has been moved earlier to allow families to make their own lunch arrangements.
Included at the end of this letter is a parish bulletin announcement for insertion in your parish bulletins and newsletters. We kindly ask for your assistance in sharing this invitation widely with your parish community.
Archbishop Hartmayer also warmly invites you to come celebrate this special Mass.
Thank you for your support. Should you have any questions, please contact me at jsaviano@archatl.com. May the Lord continue to bless you abundantly in your ministry to couples, families and the faithful.
