Upcoming Ignatius House retreats and programs as of November 10, 2025

Men’s Advent evening of reflection: Hope in the face of evil
December 4
Ignatius House Jesuit Retreat Center, Sandy Springs
Directed by Fr. Jim Fleming, SJ

Why do bad things happen to good people—and where is God in the midst of suffering? As Advent begins, take time to pause and rediscover hope rooted in God’s boundless love. Join us for an evening of quiet reflection, prayer and fellowship as we prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ. Dinner begins at 5:30 p.m., with reflections starting at 6:30 p.m. Opportunities for reconciliation and Eucharist will be available.

To register, visit our website at https://www.ignatiushouse.org/calendar or call 404-255-0503.

Advent retreat: A journey of Advent hope
December 5-7
Ignatius House Jesuit Retreat Center, Sandy Springs
Directed by Sr. Susan Arcaro, r.c.

Praying with the Stations of the Crib
The Christmas Story is a dearly loved story for children of all ages. During this retreat, we will listen and ponder stories drawn from the infancy narratives in the gospels of Luke and Matthew. Using scripture, the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola and “Stations of the Crib” by Joseph Nassal as our guides, we will embark on a journey of hope to the manger in Bethlehem in and in hearts. This is a silent retreat.

To learn more, visit our website at https://www.ignatiushouse.org/calendar or call 404-255-0503.

Weekend Advent retreat: The God who comes close
Decemebr 12-14
Ignatius House Jesuit Retreat Center, Sandy Springs
Directed by Steve Siler

Finding hope in the waiting
This retreat invites us into Advent’s rhythm of longing and expectation. Deeply incarnational and Ignatian, it is also about a God who is already here drawing near to us in the ordinary, the unfinished and the human.

The retreat combines elements of guided prayer experiences and individual one-on-one spiritual conversations with a spiritual director as well as opportunities for the sacraments of reconciliation and Eucharist. This is a silent retreat.

To learn more, visit our website at https://www.ignatiushouse.org/calendar or call 404-255-0503.
