GiveCatholic Registration Closes 11/1!

iGiveCatholic registration closes in two weeks!
Sign up your parish, school, nonprofit or ministry now

From: Angela O’Donoghue, communications manager, Catholic Foundation of North Georgia

The Catholic Foundation is thrilled to bring #iGiveCatholic back to the Archdiocese of Atlanta for the ninth year! To register for your Catholic parish, school, nonprofit or ministry, go to igivecatholic.org/p/registration. During the past eight years, more than $6.7 million has been raised by organizations in our archdiocese through iGiveCatholic.

Celebrated annually since 2015 on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, #iGiveCatholic on Giving Tuesday kicks off the charitable season and brings the Catholic community together to “Give Back and Give Catholic.” As the first-ever giving day created to celebrate our unique Catholic heritage, #iGiveCatholic on Giving Tuesday inspires faithful stewards to express their generosity in support of and gratitude for their beloved faith community and ministries on this global day of giving.

Why iGiveCatholic is an easy giving day:

  • There is no cost to participate
  • *New this year* no personal information is required to verify your organization’s banking details
  • Sample emails that are ready to send, just add your organization’s information
  • Easy to use platform that lets you share your organization’s mission and story of what you’re fundraising for, with instructions on how to get set up
  • Logos, social media posts and printable materials are made for you (in English and Spanish)
  • Click here to access the resources page.

Important Dates

This year, Giving Tuesday (and #iGiveCatholic) will be on Tuesday, December 2. The advanced giving phase will begin on Monday, November 17. Registration closes 11/1. No late registrations will be accepted.

How to register

  1. Register your parish, mission, school or nonprofit ministry by going to igivecatholic.org/p/registration.
  2. Scroll down, until you see the registration form. Enter your organization’s EIN or name.

We recommend using your EIN, there are MANY St. Mary’s out there!

     3. In the registration form, you will be asked to choose your “Diocese or Group” from the drop-down menu, where you will select “Archdiocese of Atlanta.” Fill out the         rest of the form and submit.

     4. Upon submission, you will receive an email confirmation letting you know you have registered. If you do not receive an email, please contact us to ensure your          registration was successful.

Trainings

Visit igivecatholic.org/resources/gt-trainings to view the “Getting Ready for #iGiveCatholic” webinar held by the national iGiveCatholic team.

You can register for the second webinar, “Final Steps Webinar,” which will be on November 12, on the same trainings webpage.
