Dear Brother Priests,
I write to share an update on our ongoing partnership with the Catholic Leadership Institute and to invite you to an important opportunity later this fall.
As you may recall, last spring we completed two significant components of the first phase of this initiative:
- The Disciple Maker Index (DMI): A survey exploring our parishioners’ relationship with their faith and the Church.
- The Priest Leadership Inventory (PLI): A reflective tool designed to help us assess where we are in our priesthood and identify areas for continued growth in our vocation.
We appreciate your participation in this effort. Over the summer, we hosted several workshops for parish leaders to review and discuss the DMI feedback. Many of our parishes are now actively engaging in the next steps through the Next Generation Parish initiative, deepening their commitment to missionary discipleship.
We now wish to offer a similar opportunity for you to revisit your PLI results and consider how the archdiocese can better support you in your ministry.
To that end, we will be hosting a priest workshop on Tuesday, November 25, from 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Chancery. Lunch will be provided.
This gathering will guide you through reviewing your inventory results and assist you in creating an individual growth plan. This plan will not only serve as a personal resource for your ongoing development but will also help inform the archdiocese’s planning in the future.
