Dear Brother Pastors,
I warmly invite you and your parish communities to join us for the Grief Summit at the Cathedral of Christ the King, taking place October 6–7 in Atlanta.
This free, two-day event offers a sacred space for healing and renewal, especially for those navigating grief in these troubling times. We are honored to welcome David Kessler, internationally recognized grief expert and author, as our keynote speaker. Each evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with a panel discussion featuring professionals in grief, faith and trauma, followed by David Kessler’s keynote at 7 p.m.
To register, go to our registration link: cathedralctk.com/grief.
Last year’s summit was a deeply moving experience. I witnessed firsthand how it helped individuals and families find clarity, comfort and strength. Many left with a renewed sense of hope and a deeper faith in God’s love and care through life’s most difficult circumstances.
I ask that you:
- Attend and encourage your parish staff and grief ministry teams to join.
- Invite your parishioners through bulletins, newsletters and social media.
- Make pulpit announcements at Masses to help spread the word about this transformative opportunity.
