Upcoming retreats and programs at Ignatius House as of September 15, 2025

Caring for Our Common Home
October 17-19
Ignatius House Jesuit Retreat Center, Sandy Springs, GA
Directed by Dr. Rob McDowell, PG

Take a reflective pause from the busyness of daily life and join Dr. Rob McDowell for a weekend retreat focused on caring for our common home. Through guided prayer, discussion and personal reflection, we will explore how to live more sustainably and mindfully, deepening our connection to creation and integrating ecological responsibility into our spiritual practices. Come spend a weekend reconnecting with God, nature and your own sense of purpose in caring for the world around you. This is a silent retreat.

To register, visit our website at ignatiushouse.org/calendar/ or call 404-255-0503.

Three-Night Retreat: Saints and Sinners in the Halls of Heaven – Living into the Household of God
October 30 – November 2
Ignatius House Jesuit Retreat Center, Sandy Springs, GA
Directed by Fr. Brent Otto, SJ

Join us over the holy days of All Saints (11/1) and All Souls (11/2) for a contemplative journey into God’s dream for all creation—where heaven and earth, the living and the dead, saints and sinners are all reconciled by Christ’s love. We yearn for this, and yet so often feel burdened by grief and loss, grudges and seemingly irreconcilable differences, or lurking fear. On this retreat we will bring our real lives and sincere hearts face-to-face with our loving God, who took on flesh and dwelt among us so that we might be redeemed. Through prayer, preaching, the sacraments, natural beauty and blessed rest, we invite the Holy Spirit to instruct our hearts how to live into the Dream—right now—to take our place around the one table in God’s house. This is a silent retreat.

Veterans Retreat: Meeting Spiritual Needs
November 14 – 16
Ignatius House Jesuit Retreat Center, Sandy Springs, GA
Directed by Fr. Jim Conroy, SJ

Ignatius House invites all who serve or have served in the Armed Forces—active duty, reservists and veterans—to step away from daily demands and enter a sacred space of rest and renewal. Guided by U.S. Army Veteran Fr. Jim Conroy, SJ, this retreat gently weaves together Ignatian prayer, silence and reflection with the unique experiences of military life. In a setting of peace and natural beauty, participants are invited to encounter God’s presence in every season of life—including those marked by trauma, guilt or loss—and to discover anew God’s healing grace.

Over the weekend, retreatants will find time for prayer, guided talks, personal reflection and rest, with nourishing meals and private accommodations included at a special rate of $175.

To learn more, visit our website at ignatiushouse.org/calendar/ or call 404-255-0503.
