iGiveCatholic Registration is NOW OPEN!

To: All
From: Angela O’Donoghue, communications manager, Catholic Foundation of North Georgia

iGiveCatholic Registration is NOW OPEN!

The Catholic Foundation is thrilled to bring #iGiveCatholic back to the Archdiocese of Atlanta for the 9th year! To register for your Catholic parish, school, nonprofit or ministry, go to igivecatholic.org/p/registration.

This year, Giving Tuesday (and #iGiveCatholic) will be on December 2. The advanced giving phase will begin on Monday, November 17.

Why iGiveCatholic is an easy giving day:

  • There is no cost to participate
  • Sample emails that are ready to send, just add your organization’s information
  • Easy to use platform that lets you share your organization’s mission and story of what you’re fundraising for, with instructions on how to get set up
  • Logos, social media posts and printable materials are made for you (in English and Spanish)
  • Click here to access the resources page

Returning organizations please note:
We are moving to a new platform this year! There are a lot of improvements with the new platform, but data is still being migrated from GiveGab to Mightycause through September 1. If you try to register before 9/1 and do not find your organization in the registration search, we recommend that you wait until after September 1. If you register prior to your history being migrated over, it will mean additional work for you to enter organizational information and verify 501c3 status.

New organizations can register anytime from August 18th until the registration closing date of November 1.

How to register

  1. Register your parish, mission, school or nonprofit ministry by going to igivecatholic.org/p/registration.
  2. Scroll down, until you see the registration form. Enter your organization’s EIN or name.
We recommend using your EIN, there are MANY St. Mary’s out there! SEE IMAGE
  3. In the registration form, you will be asked to choose your “Diocese or Group” from the drop-down menu, where you will select “Archdiocese of Atlanta.” Fill out the rest of the form and submit.
  4. Upon submission, you will receive an email confirmation letting you know you have registered. If you do not receive an email, please contact us to ensure your registration was successful.

Training
The first training for participating organizations, “Getting Ready for #iGiveCatholic” is Tuesday,  August 27, at 3 p.m. You can register for that training here. We highly recommend you or someone from your team attend this webinar as it will be going over the new platform. If you are unable to make it, this training will be recorded and the link will be available on the Trainings page of the website.

The Catholic Foundation will also host two webinars for those participating from our archdiocese. Visit cfnga.org/events for more information and to register.
