Upcoming events at Ignatius House as of August 22, 2025

ONLINE Book Study: Living Laudato Si – A Lunchtime Book Club for the Soul and the Earth
September 11-October 16, 25
Ignatius House Jesuit Retreat Center, Sandy Springs

Facilitated by Angela Laughter, MTS

Facilitated by Angela Laughter, MTS, this six-week series offers a sacred pause in the middle of your week to journey through Laudato Si’, Pope Francis’ encyclical on caring for our common home. Over five virtual lunchtime gatherings (Sept. 11 – Oct. 9) and a closing in-person session with a locally sourced meal at Ignatius House (Oct. 16), we’ll reflect, connect and explore how faith calls us to ecological conversion—reconnecting with creation, with one another and with the divine wisdom within our bodies and the earth. Bring your lunch, bring your heart, and join a welcoming community seeking hope, healing, and renewal together.

Personal Silent Weekend Retreat
September 12-14

Ignatius House Jesuit Retreat Center, Sandy Springs

Break away from your routine and enter the serene sanctuary of Ignatius House for a Personal Silent Weekend Retreat, September 12–14. Unlike our guided retreats, this weekend offers unstructured time for solitude, prayer and rest amid 20 peaceful acres along the Chattahoochee River. After a brief welcome Friday evening, you’ll enter silence until Sunday morning, with the option for a short spiritual conversation if you wish. Let the Holy Spirit guide you in this sacred time of stillness, ending with a communal Examen, sharing and brunch. Come be refreshed in body, mind, and spirit. This is a silent retreat.

To register, visit our website at ignatiushouse.org/calendar/ or call 404-255-0503.

Retiro en español/Retreat in Spanish
Del 9 al 21 de septiembre
Ignatius House Jesuit Retreat Center, Sandy Springs
