  • Download PDF Version available for use with email and print distribution.

To: Clergy, religious, parish staff and Chancery staff
From: Sue Stubbs, director, Victim Assistance Program; Office of Child and Youth Protection

The Office of Child and Youth Protection, Victim Assistance Program, has scheduled a three-day retreat for adult female survivors of abuse September 26-28 at Carmel Retreat Center in Hoschton, Georgia. Registration deadline is September 15.

Please review the details of the retreat on our webpage at https://archatl.com/ministries-services/victim-assistance/healing-opportunities/the-way-for-women/ and pass the information on to anyone you may know who could benefit from this program. Within the next few weeks, you will receive promotional posters to display around your parish. Also, attached is a slide for in-house media systems.

Many past participants of The Way for Women discovered the retreat from an announcement in their parish bulletin; thus, I have included one below for your consideration.

Thank you for your supporting this vital opportunity for survivors of abuse. If you have any questions, please contact me at sstubbs@archatl.com or 404-920-7554.
