Upcoming events at Ignatius House as of June 9, 2025

Men’s Retreat: Finding Clarity Through Discernment (Semi-Silent)
June 27-29
Ignatius House Jesuit Retreat Center, Sandy Springs
Directed by Fr. Jim Fleming, SJ

Step away from the noise of daily life and enter a weekend of quiet reflection, prayer and spiritual renewal during this semi-silent retreat for men. Rooted in the teachings of St. Ignatius of Loyola, the retreat offers practical tools for discernment, helping participants recognize where God is present and how he may be inviting them to grow. Led by Fr. Fleming, the retreat includes engaging talks on the Discernment of Spirits, guided prayer practices such as the Examen and imaginative prayer, breathing meditation and time for personal reflection. Opportunities for one-on-one spiritual direction and the sacraments of reconciliation and Eucharist are also available. This retreat offers a valuable space for men seeking clarity, a renewed sense of direction and a deeper relationship with God.

Weekend Retreat: Mary Magdalene – The Apostle to the Apostles
July 18-20
Ignatius House Jesuit Retreat Center, Sandy Springs
Directed by Maria Cressler, MTS; Kimberly Nettuno, MTS, RYT; Fr. Bill Noe, SJ; and Sarah Otto, M.Div.

As a friend to Jesus, an important figure in the resurrection story and a woman of great faith, Mary Magdalene has much to teach us. A team of directors from Ignatius House will share how this incredible woman can help us all grow in freedom, develop intimacy with Christ and cultivate the courage to be witnesses in the world. This retreat includes at least three guided presentations, topics to contemplate and pray upon and plenty of unscripted time for rest. Come rediscover not just your best self but your truest self—as God created you to be. This is a silent retreat.

To register, visit our website at ignatiushouse.org/calendar/ or call 404-255-0503.

A Liberating Spirit: Two- or Three- Night Ignatian Retreat
July 31 – August 3
Ignatius House Jesuit Retreat Center, Sandy Springs
Directed by Gail Henderson-Belsito and Fr. Bill Noe, SJ

Join us for a retreat celebrating the Feast of St. Ignatius. From the beginning, the Spirit of God has shown itself to be liberating. When he began his ministry, Jesus proclaimed that the spirit of God who led the people of Israel out of slavery was upon him, to continue the work of liberation in his time. Through the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, the spirit continues its work in the one who makes them and draws them into the same liberating work in their time. This retreat offers two options: a three-night or two-night experience. Come away for a time of prayer, silence and spacious reflection—and celebrate the life and legacy of St. Ignatius with us. This is a silent retreat.
