Urgent second collection for Catholic Charities Atlanta, May 3-4

  • Download PDF Version available for use with email and print distribution.

To: Pastors, parish administrators and bulletin editors
From: Francesca Lupinetti, programs and support services marketing specialist, Office of Mission Advancement

The following are pulpit/bulletin announcements for May 3-4, urgent second collection for Catholic Charities Atlanta. This urgent second collection has been added to the second collection schedule with the approval of Archbishop Gregory J. Hartmayer. Please encourage your parishioners to be generous!

A second collection in support of the mission of Catholic Charities Atlanta (CCA) is scheduled for May 3 and 4. Catholic Charities’ mission has been impacted by cuts in funding to the USCCB. Help us continue to serve our neighbors in need throughout the archdiocese.

To support our mission, we have included a graphic for your narthex video flat screen, an advertisement for your parish bulletin and newsletter, and a short video. In addition, summary notes are provided for your bulletin and/or pulpit announcement.

If you have any questions about these resources, please contact Maggie Jones Patton, director of development and communications, mpatton@ccatlanta.org; 770-825-2176.

We are grateful for your support in our efforts to help families become more independent and self-sufficient.
