Each year, Catholic Mobilizing Network hosts the Justice & Mercy poetry contest to lift up the voices of young advocates and draw from them inspiration for the work ahead in death penalty abolition. Especially in this particular Year of Jubilee 2025, we pray for these poems to be part of the call of the Holy Father for “tangible signs of hope.”
The contest is open to Catholics aged 18-39 and offers a first-place cash prize of $1,000. Poems must be submitted by Thursday, March 20. Click here to learn more.
