Upcoming events at Ignatius House Jesuit Retreat Center as of February 24, 2025

Weekend Enneagram Retreat
February 28 – March 2
Ignatius House Jesuit Retreat Center
Directed by Andy Otto, MA

Embark on a transformative weekend retreat exploring the enneagram through the lens of Ignatian spirituality. Immerse yourself in a comprehensive exploration of the nine enneagram types, gaining insight into your unique motivations, strengths and weaknesses. Dive deeper into understanding your own type, allowing you to uncover your true self and grow into a more whole and loving person. With a focus on discernment and decision-making, we will explore how each type relates to God’s desires for us. You will be equipped with tools to pray with your enneagram type daily and be guided toward deeper connection with your authentic self and the divine. This is a silent retreat.

Ash Wednesday Day of Reflection
March 5, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Ignatius House Jesuit Retreat Center
Directed by Fr. Jim Fleming, SJ

Attend a day of reflection on Ash Wednesday that includes insightful contemplations, silence and Mass with distribution of ashes. This gathering launches the 40 days of Lent that prepare us to celebrate Easter. Ashes are a sign of our own mortality and a cry to be redeemed from sin and death. And they point to a day of resurrection, where Christ himself responds to sin with forgiveness, and where in his own death Christ opens for us all the promise of life beyond death. Come share this day of reflection where together we look at the humble stance of one who takes ashes. Then look at the journey of Lent itself, as it calls us to repent and find healing for our sinfulness. Finally, see the promise of companionship with Christ, which is the gift given us as we enter the waters of baptism and share with Jesus the promise of life everlasting. This is a silent day of reflection.

Women’s Lenten Retreat: Embracing Life’s Journey with Hope
March 7 – 9
Ignatius House Jesuit Retreat Center
Directed by Sr. Susan Arcaro, r.c.

Embracing Interdependence and Spiritual Growth in Partnership

We are women chosen to be the light of God’s love for all God’s people we meet on our life’s journey. We are pilgrims called to believe God is with us as we journey from today to the unknown future. Each day we are standing on the threshold of “new life” centered in love. During our retreat we will ponder what we need for our journey—HOPE is sprinkled with peace, trust, patience, humor and love. This is a semi-silent retreat.

To register, visit our website at ignatiushouse.org/calendar/ or call 404-255-0503
