We are excited to announce that we will be hosting a VIRTUS Spanish Facilitator Training class on January 7 and 8. The class will be held at the Chancery and will run from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.
Candidates for the VIRTUS Spanish Facilitator Training must:
- Complete the attached application
- Submit to a comprehensive criminal background check which requires the applicant having a social security number
- Attend a VIRTUS: Protecting God’s Children in-person session prior to Friday, December 6
- Have their pastor’s approval
The goal of the Office of Child and Youth Protection is to have at least one person at each parish that can facilitate the VIRTUS: Protecting God’s Children session in Spanish. Please consider who would be a good candidate for your parish and invite them to submit the attached application by December 6.
Our office will follow up with the pastor of the location for each of the applicants to confirm that the applicant has the approval of their pastor.
Please reach out to our office with questions at ocyp@archatl.com.
Thank you for all you do to help keep our children and vulnerable individuals safe!
