To: Clergy, religious and parishes and schools
From: Father Rey Pineda, director, Office of Vocations
One of the most successful initiatives of the Office of Vocations in recent years has been the December discernment retreat for men. We have a number of seminarians in the program who are “alumni” from the retreat. This year’s retreat is December 27 through 29 at the Monastery of the Holy Spirit. These dates have worked well for college students who are home on Christmas break, as well as working people who have time off during the Christmas holiday.
The retreat includes talks by priests and seminarians, a panel discussion and time for prayer and reflection.
If you know of a man (or men) ages 18-35 who would like to attend, please have him register at calledbychrist.com/events/discernment-retreat. Space is limited.
