From: The Most Reverend Gregory J. Hartmayer, OFM Conv.
Peace and all good things!
I am writing to invite you to consider attending a workshop on December 6, hosted by the University of Notre Dame’s McGrath Institute for Church Life in partnership with the Archdiocese of Atlanta. Over the course of a workday, participants will be invited into a new and vital conversation on worship and childhood in the world today. Participants will also consider how we might reimagine formation to meet the needs of children while accompanying them toward a life of worshipful wisdom, all with an eye towards our renewed emphasis on family evangelization and catechesis in our archdiocese.
This workshop will take place at the Chancery, 2401 Lake Park Dr. SE, Smyrna, GA 30080, and is especially designed for those involved in the formation of children: religious educators, catechists, liturgists, teachers, administrators, pastors and parochial vicars. The link to register is available here, and a flyer is also available here. The deadline to register is November 25. The event, which includes refreshments and lunch, is free to attend, and participants are eligible for intermediate or advanced certification credit.
I encourage you to prayerfully consider attending this workshop so that you can bring the conversation back to your parish or school community.
