Priest Renewal Week at Purification Heritage Center

  • Download PDF Version available for use with email and print distribution.

To: Priests
From: Fr. Pedro Poloche, director, Ongoing Formation of Priests

Brothers,

After the busy seasons of Advent and Christmas, you may want to set aside some time in January for rest, renewal, reflection and fellowship. Purification Heritage Center is offering “Whelan Days: Priest Renewal Week” from January 13-16 for a rate of $50 per night due to the generosity of a donor who is underwriting the remainder of the nightly rate.

This offer is only available for priests and is a flexible stay for up to three nights.

Named after Fr. Peter Whelan who faithfully served Georgia’s oldest Catholic mission for 14 years, priests will have the opportunity to enjoy the walking trails, prayer spaces, chapel, dock house, fishing, fire pit, quiet and solitude during the week.

All meals are included from arrival through departure. You can make reservations by calling 706-417-805. More information is detailed on the attached flyer.
