The Jewish-Christian Discovery Center has one primary goal, to teach Christians about their Jewish roots though education. Toward this goal we have created a number of programs and initiatives.
This year is the first time in a long time that the first night of Hannukah was on Christmas. With that in mind, ‘Project Let There Be Light’ looks to provide menorahs accompanied by information packets to help people learn the history of both Hanukkah and the Menorah.
If you would like your parish to participate in this wonderful interfaith project, click here to order.
We would also like to give away a FREE a Menorah ornament and info packet to anyone that would be willing to accept it and place it on their tree or in their home. St. Ann Parish in Marietta is participating this year. The info packet would include discussions for families about how to love and support our brothers and sisters of different faith backgrounds and highlight Jesus’ Jewish roots. This is available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please contact Jenny Kiehl at jkiehl@st-ann.org or 470-785-2449 for details.
