The marriage preparation options for the Archdiocese of Atlanta have received an upgrade. Previously referred to as the “Joy-Filled Marriage” program, the workshops will now simply be presented by their unique name. Couples can also now learn about and register for the archdiocesan workshops in one convenient location here. Two workshops (two separate Saturdays) are still needed to obtain a certificate.
There are two options for the introductory day one (1) workshop:
(1) Available for all couples, “Life-Skills for Couples” helps them improve skills regarding goal setting, communication, conflict resolution and resource management.
(2) Available for couples who have experienced the annulment process, being widowed or a blending of families, “Love Again: Life-Skills for Remarriage” helps them improve life-skills, taking into account their unique situation.
There is one option for the final day two (2) workshop, which should be taken by all couples:
(3) “Marriage as Sacrament” helps them reflect on true intimacy, as God has designed it, for each other and with him.
Convalidating couples or any couple wishing to improve their marriage are encouraged to attend.
Full registration and certification details are also available on the attached flyer.
