To: Clergy, religious, parish communicators and social justice ministries
From: Jayna Hoffacker, director of Restorative Justice Ministry
Join us on Sunday, November 17, at the 11 a.m. Mass at the Catholic Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, 48 MLK Jr. Dr., for a very special liturgy celebrating our LGBTQ Catholics, their families, friends and allies throughout the Archdiocese of Atlanta.
Co-sponsored by Restorative Justice Ministry and Fortunate and Faithful Families, this Mass and potluck is for everyone throughout the archdiocese who wants to celebrate our LGBTQ members and the gifts and talents that they contribute to our church.
Music Director Donal Noonan has a special liturgy planned and we will gather for further celebration and fellowship at the potluck following Mass. Please bring a dish to share (bring downstairs to the parish hall before Mass). We will have paper products and drinks (including beer and wine, soft drinks and water). LGBTQ persons, families, friends and allies are welcome.
Free parking is in the garage across from Shrine (bring ticket for stamp as you enter church). Truly, we are one body in Christ and all of us “belong!”
