Fall grant applications are now open via the online grants portal! Applications are easy to complete and are due on August 31. Two types of grants are accepting applications:
Catholic Community Grants
- Open to parishes, missions, university Catholic Centers, ministries and nonprofits serving in the Archdiocese of Atlanta
- Grants vary in amount awarded up to $15,000
- One application per organization or archdiocesan department may be submitted
Parish Enrichment Grants
- Only open to parishes and missions in the Archdiocese of Atlanta
- These grants are $1,000; twenty grants will be awarded
- Funding could be for projects, programs, ministries or enhancements; grants will not be made for capital or debt reduction campaigns
- Parishes can apply for both a Catholic Community Grant and Parish Enrichment grant during this application cycle, but the applications must be for different grant projects
New Grant Application Changes Effective for the Fall 2024 Grant Cycle (only applicable to Catholic Community Grants):
- For all organizations:
- Grant requests cannot exceed $15,000
- Organizations must be established for three or more years
- Additional requirements for non-Catholic organizations:
- If the organization has been awarded two consecutive grants within two years, they must wait one grant cycle before applying again (i.e. if you were awarded a grant in fall 2022 and fall 2023, you must wait until fall 2025 to apply again)
- A Letter of Support (the form is provided) from a Catholic board member, staff member, volunteer, client, donor or local parishioner must be provided as part of the application
