Change Healthcare is sending letters to individuals regarding a security incident which impacted some current and former employees of the Archdiocese of Atlanta. This may include school and parish employees and is a different letter than one you may have received from Smith, Gambrell & Russell.
Change Healthcare (CHC) is owned by UnitedHealth Group (UHG). OptumRx, which administers prescription benefits, is owned by UHG. If anyone received an email or letter from CHC or UHG, it is legitimate. It contains all of the details about the incident and offers actions you can take. Please read it carefully.
Not all employees were impacted so not everyone will receive the notice.
