For the past several years, we have provided a Catholic version of the Georgia Advance Directive for Healthcare. Recently, we have received several reports of hospitals rejecting our document. Therefore, we have discontinued the use of the Catholic version of the advance directive and removed it from our website.
In place of this, we are providing guidance on how to complete the state document in conformity with Catholic teaching. These instructions are available on our Respect Life Ministry webpage, under End of Life, in English and Spanish.
