As we all prepare to enact the “tangible signs of hope” that Pope Francis has called for in the 2025 Jubilee Year, consider joining our local team to end mass incarceration!
The Multifaith Initiative to End Mass Incarceration is working to organize people of all faiths across the country to work together on addressing the criminalization of poverty, prison conditions, voter enfranchisement, the death penalty and more issues that all contribute to our carceral state.
We will meet as a local team and with the national community each month as we learn about and take action on each of these issues.
Clergy and faith leaders are encouraged to consider joining the team, or to identify someone in your parish who could serve as a local parish leader on the team.
