To: All pastors and administrators
From: Suzanne Fusco, parish and donor relations officer, Office of Mission Advancement
The Office of Mission Advancement (OMA) and the Catholic Foundation of North Georgia (CFNGA) are pleased to again offer scholarships to the ICSC Annual Stewardship Conference, which will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana, from September 15 to 18. A total of eight (8) scholarships in the amount of $1,250 each will be available to pastors, parish administrators, deacons and staff involved in stewardship.
The theme for the 2024 ICSC stewardship conference is Called to be Saints, which reminds us to be good stewards of our life of faith in Christ Jesus.
The conference allows attendees to gather, share common experiences and challenges, and reflect on stewardship in the Catholic Church and how it is an integral part of our faith. It presents inspiration and practical ideas through conference liturgies, plenary sessions, 80 conference sessions to choose from and much more, with experienced leaders presenting best practices, strategies and inspiration you need to continue building up Christian stewardship in your part of the Lord’s vineyard.
Selected themes for clergy this year include How Stewardship Puts the Eucharist in Action, How Stewardship Can Transform Your Parish, Enhancing Generosity in the Offertory Collection, Social Media as a Key to Evangelizing and Clergy to Clergy Testimonies from Pastors Who Embrace and Promote Stewardship.
The scholarship application is attached to this email. The deadline for applying for this scholarship is Wednesday, July 10. Awards will be made no later than Wednesday, July 17. Please direct any questions to me at sfusco@archatl.com or 404-920-7614.
