Georgia Catholics Against the Death Penalty and Georgians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty are proud to present Pulling Back the Curtain, a webinar series on the death penalty. Throughout this series, we will examine the facts and myths of the death penalty in light of the curtain of secrecy the state draws around this process.
We will continue this series with our second discussion on The Legal Labyrinth of Capital Cases. Patrick Mulvaney, director of capital litigation for the Southern Center for Human Rights, will walk us through the complicated legal processes of death penalty cases, highlighting how this highly specialized area of law can present obstacles for many defendants to receive adequate legal representation.
Join us on Thursday, August 1, at 12 p.m. via Zoom for Pulling Back the Curtain: The Legal Labyrinth of Capital Cases with Patrick Mulvaney. Register at: http://bit.ly/dplegal.
