From: Ashley Morris, director of Black Catholic Affairs, and Jayna Hoffacker, director of Restorative Justice Ministry
“For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, slaves or free persons, and we were all given to
drink of one Spirit.” 1 Cor 12:13
In the spirit of continuing our journey together toward a more synodal church, the Office of Intercultural Ministries and Restorative Justice Ministry invite all to participate in Drink of One Spirit: A Synodal Conversation on Race.
This synodal conversation will bring together the many cultural families that make up this local church to discuss how racial discrimination and injustices have harmed our community of faith, as well as to begin the process of reconciliation and healing.
We will gather on Saturday, June 15, 10:30 a.m. – 12:30p.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption, located at 1406 Hearst Drive NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30319. Registration is required, as space is limited. Click here to register or visit http://bit.ly/drinkonespirit.
