Inaugural literacy book fair drive

To:  All parish staff, school staff, religious staff and chancery staff
From:  Michele Langevin, marketing and events manager, Catholic Charities Atlanta

This summer, Catholic Charities Atlanta will host our inaugural literacy fair “Read to Succeed” to benefit Catholic Charities Atlanta’s enrolled families, including Christmas Connection. Our goal is to send every child—from toddler to high schooler—home with three or more books! Many of Catholic Charities Atlanta’s families have few books for their children. We know that literacy is critical to breaking the cycle of poverty.

You can make a difference by contributing a new book, book series or gift card through our Amazon Wish List (view here:  Read2Succeed) and choose “Read2Succeed, Smyrna GA” as the ship-to at check out.

For in-person shoppers, we have a local partner—Poe & Company Bookstore at poeandcompanybookstore.com or 1890 Heritage Walk P101, Milton, GA 30004. Stop in or give them a call at 770-797-5566 for a 25 percent discount on your donation to Read to Succeed and free delivery to our Smyrna address.

Every book matters! Help nurture a love for reading and learning.

Sincerest thanks from Catholic Charities Atlanta. Any questions, please reach out to: Christie Crane at ccrane@ccatlanta.org.
