The archdiocese has started using a new accounting program (see attached document). This program integrates with BILL.com, and effective Monday, January 1, all payments are processed by BILL.com.
Accounting has sent the Medicare Part B payments to BILL.com to be processed for Jan 2024. However, we were advised by BILL.com that payments were processed on 1/22/24 resulting in these payments being received later than usual. The payments should come beginning in February, as the archdiocese instructed BILL.com to set up recurring payment on the fifth monthly, starting February 5, 2024.
Those monitoring their @archatl.com accounts were sent an invitation from BILL.com with additional information on how to sign up for electronic payments that will be automatically deposited into your account.
It is likely that all payments processed in January were mailed out as paper checks. You should receive a check in a fairly generic white envelope which could easily be mistaken for junk mail. Be sure to watch for this payment, which will also has a scannable barcode that will take you to instructions on how to set up a BILL.com account.
If you decide not to set up a BILL.com electronic account, you will continue to get paper checks which will take a longer time to arrive and will cost more to process. Once you set up your BILL.com account, your reimbursement will automatically deposit into your account.
Please reach out to me at candronaco@archatl.com or 404-920-7439 for any assistance in setting up your account.
