Our Lady of the Mountains Parish in Jasper, in collaboration with the Office of Evangelization and Discipleship, is pleased to present a workshop for senior adults and caregivers on end-of-life care and preparation. The event will be Saturday, November 18, 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., at Our Lady of the Mountains Church Hall (Jasper, GA). It will also be livestreamed on Facebook at “OLM Prayer Group.”
The presentation will include talks from Elizabeth Graham from the Healthcare Advocacy and Leadership Organization (HALO). Elizabeth will discuss preparing for end-of-life care, and being aware of key information and pitfalls in the area of medical forms and practices. Additionally, Deacon Mike Byrne, a lawyer from St. John Neumann parish in Lilburn, will be discussing how to navigate writing a will and advanced directives.
