To: Everyone
From: Angelique Richardson, director, Office of Archives & Records

The Office of Archives and Records is happy to announce that you can now access many of our diocesan school yearbooks from across the Archdiocese of Atlanta through Ancestry.com!

Early in 2022, the Office of Archives and Records partnered with Ancestry.com to digitize our sacramental registers through approximately 1980 and our school yearbooks through 2016. The yearbooks now join our sacramental records on Ancestry.com and are available for you to research. (Click here to see the memo with details about the sacramental records available on Ancestry.com.)

If you or your family members have a paid subscription to Ancestry.com, you can access the U.S. School Yearbooks Collection at https://www.ancestry.com/search/collections/1265/. This collection contains all US yearbooks in it, but you may search or browse to locate our diocesan school yearbooks.

If you do not have access to a paid subscription to Ancestry.com, it’s entirely likely that your local library does! You can visit your local library and access the information via their institution account. Or, if your request is work-related, you can contact archives@archatl.com and we can provide access to selected digitized yearbooks upon request.
