The members of the Catholic Lay Interparish Partnership (CLIP) invite you to an informational online meeting about CLIP’s mission and work on Saturday, October 14, from 8:30-10 a.m. on Zoom.
The work of CLIP began in 2018 in response to the sexual abuse crisis and represented a new way for Catholic laity to advocate for greater collaboration with church leadership in the Archdiocese of Atlanta. At a time before Pope Francis started to guide the Church on a synodal way, CLIP was already at the forefront of giving the laity a voice that advocated for co-responsibility, accountability and transparency with the Archdiocese of Atlanta. CLIP has become even more important as the Church moves in a more synodal direction.
In order for the concerns of laypeople to be adequately represented in dialogue with the archdiocese, CLIP is seeking to expand its membership to incorporate voices from every deanery, parish and Catholic organization. You are invited to join us to learn more about the vital work that CLIP does in dialogue with the Archdiocese. We would love to incorporate your voice in this work.
