30th Anniversary GFADP Journey of Hope Speakers’ Tour

Georgians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty (GFADP) invites priests, deacons and lay people to host a speaker in your parish, school, university or location.

The “30th Anniversary GFADP Journey of Hope Speakers’ Tour” will take place from January 26-Feb 7, 2024. This event brings murder victim family members, exonerees, and family members of those on death row to parishes, schools, universities and faith communities all over Georgia. These speakers share powerful stories of their personal experiences as well as their decision to work to end the death penalty.

GFADP is already collaborating with several priests, deacons, lay people, Georgia Catholics Against the Death Penalty (GACADP) and the Catholic Mobilizing Network (CMN) to bring speakers to several parishes in Georgia, but would like to extend this invitation to your location as well.

If you would like to find out more, GFADP will be having a Zoom meeting on Tues., Sept 26 from 7-8 p.m., for those interested in learning more about hosting a speaker.

Please contact Cathy Harmon-Christian, Executive Director of GFADP at charmon-christian@gfadp.org.
