On Tuesday, August 8h, fire tore through the community of Lahaina on the island of Maui. To date, over 110 lives have been lost. Many more deaths are expected in the days to come. Many who survived the fires have lost everything and the humanitarian need is great. Parishioners who wish to help the residents of Lahaina, can make a donation to Catholic Charities USA (CCUSA) on their website: https://www.catholiccharitiesusa.org/?form=hawaii23. One hundred percent of gifts will be sent where they are needed most.
