Toni’s Camp Retreat 2023

  • Download PDF Version available for use with email and print distribution.

To: All clergy and sisters, seminarians, Parish bulletin editors
From: Maggie Rousseau, Director of Disabilities Ministry; Office of Life, Dignity and Justice

Please share the following information in your bulletins and newsletters the weekends of February 25-26 and March 4-5.

Toni’s Camp Retreat consists of several activities geared to the spiritual, social and recreational needs of individuals with mild to moderate developmental delays. Any person who is mentally or physically impaired older than the age of 14, possesses basic self-care skills, enjoys group activities and does not have severe behavior problems is welcome.

Toni’s Camp Retreat is very fun, and at times very loud. This camp is NOT appropriate for campers who would become very agitated and/or aggressive in an overstimulating environment.

Teens ages 14 and older and adult volunteers are needed for the entire weekend. Adult volunteers must be Safe Environment approved.

Camp will be held May 5-7, at Camp Twin Lakes. Registration forms are available at: https://archatl.com/events/tonis-camp-retreat/. Registration is limited.

See brochure.

For more information, please contact Maggie Rousseau at mrousseau@archatl.com or 404-920-7682.
