  • Download PDF Version available for use with email and print distribution.

To: Clergy and religious, chancery staff, parish communicators, social action ministers
From: Jayna Hoffacker, associate director, Justice and Peace Ministries

Catholic Relief Services, the official overseas humanitarian and development organization of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, is providing emergency relief in Pakistan in response to devastating floods that have displaced more than 2 million people.

Please consider using the information below in your parish communications to help CRS raise funds for their relief efforts.

Donations to assist relief efforts in Pakistan
Devastating floods in Pakistan have displaced more than 2 million people, and nearly 1,000 people are reported to have died. With bridges, shops and city infrastructure damaged, communities face challenges in accessing help and having the means to rebuild and recover. CRS and partners are providing immediate cash assistance, and plan to expand support to include access to emergency shelter and clean water. Please consider donating today to support these efforts: https://support.crs.org/donate/pakistan-crisis
