Fratelli Tutti. The encyclical, Fratelli Tutti, by Pope Francis speaks extensively to the subject of migration and integration. See the significant sections identified by Justice for Immigrants.
Human trafficking. Pope Francis says “Human trafficking is a crime against all humanity. We must unite our efforts to free victims and stop this crime.” Justice for Immigrants continues to expand its anti-trafficking resources. Visit the JFI website.
Do not forget the Catholic Social Ministry Gathering (CSMG). Registration is now open for the CSMG, a virtual gathering with outstanding speakers on all aspects of Catholic social justice. Religious workers are essential workers. CLINIC has issued outline recommendations to ensure that essential religious workers are not taken out of service during the pandemic due to backlogs and other issues at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
