Tribunal Advocates assist the faithful who wish to petition for a declaration of nullity or a dissolution of marriage. They are trained in the fundamentals of marriage law and canonical matrimonial procedures.
Ideal candidates are those who work in the legal field as either lawyers or para-legals. All applicants must have at least a bachelor’s degree and some professional experience. To apply for the Advocate Training Program, candidates should complete and submit an application, which can be downloaded from the Tribunal website HERE.
For more information about the work of advocates, candidates should contact Mr. Joe Tovar, Chief Advocate of the Metropolitan Tribunal, at jtovar@archatl.com or 404-920-7503.
