October is the month of the Holy Rosary. Justice for Immigrants has an inspiring set of meditations to pray the rosary for vulnerable populations. See a full week of the meditations here.
Real people of Afghanistan. The media carries a lot about Afghanistan, but here is an opportunity to hear directly from people from Afghanistan – Voices of Afghanistan. The project is a joint effort of Princeton University and the USCCB Migration Refugee Services, which has produced vocal and written records examining the role of religion in resettling refugees. Resources for assisting refugees from Afghanistan are found here.
Every human person is precious in God’s eyes. No person is created to be a commodity trafficked for profit. Yet, human trafficking exists in our midst. Learn more about how to recognize human trafficking and what to do about it here. Pope Francis writes: “Human trafficking is a crime against all humanity.
