Help your neighbors in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida.
On the 16th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, category four Hurricane Ida hit the coast of Louisiana at Port Fourchon with maximum sustained winds of 150-mph. Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards said “Hurricane Ida is one of the strongest storms to make landfall in Louisiana in modern times.” Hurricane Ida has displaced thousands of families across eastern Louisiana and along the coast of Mississippi.
If you would like to help families in the impacted area, you can make a donation to Catholic Charities USA who will send money to local Catholic Charities organizations in the affected areas. 100 percent of funds contributed will go to local Catholic Charities to provide support services and resources to the families and individuals impacted by this devastating storm.
