Catholic Social Ministry Gathering
“Make justice your aim” (cf. Is. 1:17): Rebuilding Together
February 6-9, Virtual Gathering
For more than 30 years, the Catholic Social Ministry Gathering (CSMG) has brought together hundreds of participants whose faith inspires them to address pressing, current domestic and global challenges affecting our most vulnerable brothers and sisters at home and around the world.
This year, we will pray, learn and advocate together on the disparities revealed by COVID-19 and re-imagine new models of justice and solidarity.
The last day of the gathering is the annual advocacy day. While we are usually able to meet our elected officials and their staffers on the Hill, our new COVID-19 reality has forced us to go virtual. Kat Doyle and Jayna Hoffacker, in Justice and Peace Ministries, are serving as the state captains and working hard to secure meetings with the offices of our new Georgia senators. We will be advocating for COVID-19 relief, international aid and humane treatment and protection of immigrants and refugees.
Usually a very costly event to attend, the registration fee for the virtual gathering is only $50. Click here for more information about the schedule and to register.
