The “Joy-Filled Marriage” preparation hosted by the Archdiocese continues in 2020 as it did in 2019, as a two-Saturday program. However, reflecting the overall declining marriage rate, please note there will not be a workshop held in December 2020, so couples will need to plan accordingly. Registration is online here.
“Love Again” continues to be held quarterly to offer life-skills for couples who are marrying after a previous marriage. These include couples where one or both of the partners have experienced an annulment, being widowed, or a civil marriage, and/or they anticipate a blending of families. “Love Again,” combined with the second Saturday focused on sacramental preparation, completes the marriage preparation process for these couples. Registration is online here.
“Witness to Love” is a new initiative based on the Marriage Catechumenate model encouraged by Pope Francis and Pope St. John Paul II. It combines a sponsor couple, picked by the engaged couple, and part 2 of the Joy-Filled Marriage workshop. More details and registration is online here.
All couples receive a certificate of completion at the end of the second Saturday. See flyer with registration information and all the program dates for 2020.
