St. Mary’s Seminary & University Center for Continuing Formation will offer two retreats for priests in May 2019.
The annual Priests’ Retreat entitled, “Discipleship in Luke-Acts: In the Word and by the Spirit,” will take place from May 13-17, 2019 in Baltimore, Maryland. Directed by Fr. Tom Hurst, P.S.S., former seminary rector, this retreat will not only be about prayer and reflection but will offer a chance to reflect on how personal narratives are being constructed.
The registration fee is $475 and includes all meals, accommodations and course materials. St. Mary’s center for continuing formation provides a private site for reflecting, a venue for learning and an environment for growing.
The annual Senior Priests’ Retreat will take place May 28-31, 2019 at St. Mary’s in Baltimore Maryland. It is available for priests who are 65 or older, whether in active ministry or retired. The theme for this year’s retreat is “Veterans of the Campaign.”
The registration fee is $395 and includes all meals, accommodations and course materials. St. Mary’s Center features an oratory for private prayer, a chapel for concelebrating, hotel quality guest rooms with private baths, a library, a fitness center and campus walkways.
Priests of the Archdiocese of Atlanta are required to make an annual retreat. It is our policy in the Archdiocese of Atlanta that the parish/ministry of the priest is responsible for the cost of this annual retreat. Currently the annual allowance for this expense is $850. Costs beyond that amount are the responsibility of the individual priest.
