The next Catholic-Orthodox Ecumenical Gathering will take place on Monday, December 18, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation, 2500 Clairmont Road NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30329.
His Excellency, the Most Reverend Wilton Gregory, Catholic Archbishop of Atlanta and His Eminence Alexios, Greek Orthodox Metropolitan of Atlanta will officiate. The
keynote speaker will be Father Panayiotis Papageorgiou, Pastor of Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church in Marietta, Georgia.
The theme of the gathering is: Was Jesus born on December 25? And Why This Matters!
Priests and deacons are invited to vest and process (either a cassock and surplice, or an alb and violet stole). Please encourage parishioners and other interested individuals and
groups to attend. There will be a reception in the parish hall immediately after the service.
