On Wednesday, October 25, 2017, the Office of Formation and Discipleship of the Archdiocese of Atlanta will launch Called to Accompany/Llamados a Acompañar, a free training series filmed in English and Spanish for all volunteers who work with middle school and high school age youth.
This tool provides a parish with the means to train volunteers who are serving in Catholic youth ministry. It features nationally recognized youth ministry experts and includes reflection guides for use with groups or individuals.
Based on the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ (USCCB) pillars of youth ministry, the training builds a foundation that compliments any particular parish youth program. This training series is recognized by the National Federation of Catholic Youth Ministry (NFCYM).
Called to Accompany/Llamados a Acompañar was developed by the Archdiocese of Atlanta, with partial grants from Our Sunday Visitor and The Catholic Foundation of North Georgia. Training videos were created by Emmy-award winning Spirit Juice Studios.
We invite you to watch the promo videos in English and Spanish.
