As many prepare to return to school, the Archdiocese of Atlanta’s Justice and Peace Ministries joins with Interfaith Children’s Movement and other faith communities to intentionally create a space filled with faith and power to pray for our youth.
Multifaith Prayers for Peace and Positivity is an event where religious leaders connect with others who work tirelessly to safeguard and guide youth during the school year. Youth, parents, teachers, staff administrators, bus drivers, guidance counselors, crossing guards and all who believe youth deserve to be safe from all forms of violence are invited to join this virtual gathering.
Youth will take the lead in the program: Our Children, Our Community, Our Responsibility. Let’s stand with our youth as they pray for one another. Consider joining us virtually on Thursday, August 11, at 6:30 p.m., as we pray for our youth.
Registration and additional information can be found at Join Us at the Multi-Faith Prayers for Peace and Positivity Event! (everyaction.com) or contact me at kdoyle@archatl.com.
