To: Priests, deacons, brothers and sisters of the Archdiocese of Atlanta and the Diocese of Savannah
From: Frank Mulcahy, Georgia Catholic Conference (404) 920-7367      fmulcahy@georgiacc.org

Congratulations to Cardinal-Elect Robert McElroy. As bishop of San Diego, Cardinal-elect McElroy is responsible for a diocese which serves many of the immigrants passing through from Mexico. Read more here.

Did you know that CLINIC has a state and local immigration project? Most law related to immigration is federal in nature, but there are important aspects of immigrants’ lives that are affected by state and local laws and regulations. The Catholic Legal Immigration Network (CLINIC) provides invaluable assistance to Catholic conferences and Catholic charities immigration attorneys in advocating for changes that benefit immigrants and refugees. See some of those stories here.

Immigration is about human stories. Every immigrant has an inspiring story. CLINIC likes to collect stories and share them. See some of the stories at https://cliniclegal.org/stories. Maybe you have a story to share.

CLINIC quisiera recopilar esas historias y compartirlas. Vea algunas de ellas en https://cliniclegal.org/stories. Tal vez usted pueda compartir la suya.
